Location: Trafford Park, M17, Manchester (5 days in office)

Salary: GBP26,500 GBP28,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is a global transport and logistics provider offering tailored solutions across all modes of freight. With extensive experience in supply chain optimisation, they support businesses by improving efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and delivering seamless end–to–end logistics from container shipments to express courier deliveries.

They are currently seeking a Junior Courier Operator to join their team in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast–paced and supportive logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor internal and external courier platforms for delivery/collection issues

Arrange courier shipments using relevant IT systems

Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and partners

Proactively resolve issues, escalating where necessary to the Courier Manager

Support with cargo claims for missing or damaged goods

Ensure commercial documentation is correct prior to shipment

Process cost reservations, supplier invoices, and issue customer sales invoices

Assist with general courier administration and support the courier product

Continuously develop knowledge of systems and suggest process improvements

Engage in ongoing training and development
