Salary: 50,000 per annum

Job Type: Full–Time, Permanent

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join our team in Bridgewater. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, roadworthy, and compliant with DVSA standards.

Key Responsibilities:Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs in accordance with manufacturer and DVSA guidelinesDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faultsConduct MOT preparations and ensure all vehicles meet road safety regulationsMaintain accurate records of work carried out and parts usedCollaborate with the fleet management team to schedule servicing and minimise vehicle downtimeEnsure workshop tools and equipment are maintained to a high standardAdhere to health and safety policies at all timesRequirements:NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalentProven experience as an HGV Technician or similar roleA valid UK driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable)Strong diagnostic and problem–solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and record–keeping abilitiesBenefits:Competitive salary of 50,000 per yearOvertime opportunitiesCompany pension schemeOngoing training and developmentModern, well–equipped workshopUniform and tools providedHow to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
