Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle curtainside deliveries. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

Monday to Friday (10 to 12 hour shifts)

Tramping

Working with Curtain Sided vehicle

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items on flatbeds.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtainside vehicles.

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Good physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks effectively.

Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
