HGV1 Steel Driver - Kingswinford, West Midlands
GBP17-GBP18 per hour (including holiday pay) Weekly Pay Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a specialist steel transport role in Brierley Hill . This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected steel logistics company, ideal for drivers with a strong background in flatbed and Curtainsider work.
Location: Kingswinford, West Midlands
Pay: GBP18 per hour (incl. holiday pay)
Key Duties:
Transporting various steel products across the region
Securing loads using ratchet straps and chains
Ensuring safe handling and delivery of steel on flatbed vehicles
Performing vehicle checks and following site procedures
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph
Minimum 1 years' experience moving steel (for insurance purposes)
Proven ability to safely use ratchet straps and secure loads
Good route knowledge of Kingswinford, West Midlands, and surrounding areas
Weekly pay direct to your bank
Supportive consultants with knowledge of the steel industry
