HGV Class 1 Night Driver

Description

Are you an HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for a long–term opportunity in the Tamworth area? Do you have 6 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles and working in logistics? Are you happy working within the warehouse to ensure your run gets on the road on time?

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a temp–to–perm HGV Class 1 Night Driver for a Specialist Logistics & Installation Company with start times between 18:00 – 20:00.

This role will involve:

– Local business–business deliveries of specialist products

– 5–8 drops per day, all based in the Greater Midlands area

– Warehouse Duties including loading/ unloading necessary

– Rotating shifts with start times of 18:00 and 20:00

– Average 8–hour shifts (minimum 8–hours paid)

– Monday–Friday, temp–to–perm

– Site based in Dordon, easily accessible from the M42, Junction 10

Successful HGV Class 1 Night Drivers will:

– Have at least 6 months Class 1 Driving experience

– Held Class 1 licence for 12 months (Desirable)

– Have no more than 6 points for minor offences (No DDs, DRs or CDs)

– Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Rates of Pay – PAYE:

– Mon–Fri Nights – 17.00

– Full PAYE, with holiday pay accrued on top
