Description

Personnel Solutions is seeking a highly organised and detail–oriented Goods–in Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of incoming goods for our client based in Canklow S60. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products are received, processed, and stored accurately, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse management systems, as well as the ability to lead a team effectively.

Hours –

8.30am – 5pm Mon–Thurs 4pm Finish on a Friday

Duties

Manage the receipt of goods, ensuring all shipments are checked for accuracy and quality upon arrival. Oversee the organisation and storage of incoming materials within the warehouse. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to facilitate smooth shipping and receiving processes. Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements. Implement best practices for materials handling to optimise efficiency and safety in the warehouse environment. Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with business processes. Provide training and support to team members on proper handling techniques and equipment operation, including forklift usage. Collaborate with third–party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong understanding of business processes related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Experience operating forklifts; relevant certifications are preferred. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and external partners.
