Flight Handler – Key Responsibilities:

The Best Connection are recruiting for Flight Handlers to work at Newrest, delivering services at Gatwick Airport within the logistics distribution and supply chain sector. As a Flight Handler, you will be essential in managing the smooth flow of catering supplies and equipment, supporting efficient flight operations.

Key Duties:

Plan and coordinate daily tasks to meet flight schedulesAssemble in–flight meals and amenities to airline specificationsLoad and seal storage trolleys for dispatchDeliver catering equipment and supplies to aircraftDress aircraft cabins to meet client expectationsMaintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and qualityAssist with loading catering trucks and aircraft provisioningCommunicate effectively with ground crew and flight teamsPerform heavy lifting (up to approx. 50 lbs) and work under pressureComply with all health, safety, security, and operational proceduresCarry out additional departmental tasks as requiredMaintain a professional approach at all timesThis Flight Handler role is suitable for individuals seeking a role in the logistics distribution and supply chain industry, working in a fast–paced environment at Gatwick Airport and the Newrest warehouse.

Pay & Schedule:

Hourly Rate: 15.21 per hourShift Pattern: 5 days on, 3 days offStart Times: Between 03:00 and 10:00 (flexibility required)Average Weekly Hours: 40Shift Length: Approx. 9.5 hours per day (including a 30–minute break)Requirements – Please Read Carefully:
