Location: Farnborough,

Salary: Up to 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

Contract: Full–time, Permanent

Air Export Operator

We are seeking an experienced Export Clerk (Airfreight) to join our busy and growing team in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive freight professional with at least 3 years of experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding environment.

You'll play a key role in coordinating export shipments, handling documentation, and ensuring compliance with global freight procedures – all while delivering exceptional customer service to our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day–to–day export operations including air, road, courier, and some sea freight bookingsLiaise with carriers, agents, customers, and warehouses to arrange collections and resolve queriesProduce and process export documentation: MAWB, HAWB, NES entries, LC documents, COO's, EUR1s, ATRs, ATA CarnetsComplete customs entries with a strong understanding of UCRs, MUCRs, CPC codesMaintain accurate data entry and manage internal systems for export bookingsRaise invoices and dispatch transport documents to clientsCoordinate with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service deliveryProvide first–class client support and proactively handle any shipment issues

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Airfreight Export ClerkSolid understanding of export documentation and customs proceduresExperience with NES entries and consular documentsKnowledge of dangerous goods handling (by air)Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsConfident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesA genuine team player with a customer–first mindset100% office–based – no remote working
