Export Customs Broker

Description

We're on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Export Customs Broker to join our client's friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading name in logistics and freight forwarding to play a key role in efficient and compliant export processes.

Hours:

Monday to Wednesday: 09:00 - 17:00Thursday to Friday: 09:00 - 17:00 (until finish may be later if required)Plus on-call duties on a rota

Responsibilities:

Preparing and submitting export customs declarationsChecking and validating export paperworkWorking closely with clients, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure shipments remain compliant and on timeKeeping accurate records in line with HMRC requirementsManaging export customs clearances to keep shipments moving without delayPreparing and processing NCTS Transit T-FormsSupporting the team with general administration and problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements:

Port Health/Licences/ATA Carnets experience would be beneficialKnowledge of systems such as Destin8, CDS, NCTS, CNS, and DescartesA good problem solver and able to multitaskWillingness to cross-train and grow skills in different areas of the department
