European Transport Operator – Road Freight (UK–Based)

Location: Tamworth Area

Full–time, Monday to Friday (09:00–17:00)

Salary: 28,000 – 30,000

Are you experienced in European road freight operations and looking for a new challenge? We're currently seeking a proactive and commercially minded European Transport Operator to join a dynamic and growing team in the Tamworth area.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the strategic coordination of road freight across Europe. You will optimise trailer usage, minimise empty mileage, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage truck and trailer routes across Europe to maximise efficiency and profitabilityCoordinate collections/deliveries and maintain real–time communication with stakeholdersSource backloads using freight exchanges to reduce empty mileageManage ferry bookings and ensure proper customs documentationAdapt plans when required to meet service expectationsMonitor live delays and communicate proactivelyHandle administrative duties such as costing shipments, passing invoices, and updating shipment recordsEnsure compliance with transport, customs, and environmental regulationsCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high customer satisfactionWhat We're Looking For:

Essential:

At least 1 year of experience in European transport operationsWorking knowledge of TACO rules, customs processes, and relevant regulationsExcellent communication and multitasking skillsStrong attention to detail and a drive to deliver first–class serviceAbility to work under pressure and adapt plans effectivelyA proactive, solutions–focused mindsetRemuneration:
