Our long–standing and highly respected client, based in Newbury, is currently seeking a dedicated and detail–oriented Dispatch Operative to join their expanding team.

Dispatch Operative Roles and Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare components for dispatch in line with sales orders Cross–check items against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure order accuracy Correctly label all packages with the appropriate customer and shipment details Coordinate courier collections and deliveries with freight and logistics partners Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any delivery issues or delays Update inventory records and stock levels following dispatch Conduct regular cycle counts and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy Dispatch Operative Ideal Candidate:

Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Experience using shipping platforms and logistics or inventory software Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Able to thrive in a fast–paced environment and meet dispatch deadlines Competent with basic IT systems, ideally including ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) Dispatch Operative Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday to Thursday 08 00 Friday 08 00 Pension scheme: the employee typically puts in 5% and the company will contribute 3% Medicash 25 days holiday plus bank holiday This holiday allowance will increase after 8 years of service with another day added on from the 9th year for 5 years up to maximum of 30 days holiday Both pizza and breakfast are provided by the company once a month
