You'll be based at a purpose–built training facility in Lichfield, but the role will also involve regular travel to depots across the UK to deliver driver assessments, in–field coaching, and operational support.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on developing others, can deliver engaging and interactive training, and enjoys working closely with operational teams to drive service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging training sessions for new starters and existing staff across warehouse and delivery operations

Coach, motivate, and develop teams to achieve top–level customer service standards

Create induction packs, training materials, and departmental handbooks

Build and maintain training matrices and plans for staff development

Conduct driver ride–alongs and spot checks to ensure best practice is followed

Provide training on safe loading of vehicles and core operational processes

Monitor and review training effectiveness through evaluations and performance feedback

Assist with vehicle gatehouse checks and support operational audits

Investigate customer complaints and property damage, identifying training needs where necessary

Work closely with management to ensure consistency across all depots

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven training delivery experience, ideally in logistics, warehouse, or home delivery environments

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to engage with staff at all levels and influence positive behaviours

Health & Safety awareness

Competent IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.)

Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)

Desirable:

Previous home delivery or "final mile" experience

Driving assessor qualifications or experience

Quality control knowledge

Customer service background

Why Apply?

Work in a state–of–the–art training facility and out in the field

Be part of a growing national operation with opportunities to influence change

Variety in your working week – split between office, warehouse, and on–the–road coaching

Competitive salary and benefits package
