Description
Class 1 Driver – Days
Location: Newton Heath occasionally Cheadle Hulme
Shift times: Mainly to cover Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday but flexibility is required should the volumes need additional days working. Starting between 04:00 and 08:00, shift length is approx. 9–10 hours and should be no longer than 12 hours
Pay Rate: Monday to Thursday – 16.00 per hour (OT after 9 hours at 17.50 per hour)
Friday and Saturday – 16.00 per hour (for all hours)
Sunday – 18.35 per hour
Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national drinks & logistics distribution clients.
Responsibilities:
Deliveries to other depots (singles drops– occasional maximum 2 drops)No hand ballingReporting vehicle defectsEnsuring vehicles have been loaded correctlyMinimum requirements:
(C+E) licence / Digi tacho & CPC cards2 years minimum C+E driving experienceMaximum 6 points for minor offences (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LD, TT99 codes not acceptable)Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a teamCustomer service skills requiredBenefits:
