Shift times: 19:00 – 07:00

Pay Rate: 18.25 per hour

Our client is a third–party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

We're looking for full–time, Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Rochester. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Multidrop deliveries between network operation depots – no customer sites.Collections, deliveries, and trailer swappingSafely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.From time to time, you may need will need to use pallet truck to unload pallets off trailer however typically an FLT would unload wherever needed.Using a handheld scanner and completing relevant paperwork.Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.What you need to succeed with our client

HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)Minimum 6 months class 1 experienceNo more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.Multidrop delivery experience.Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.A can–do attitudeWant to go perm, here's a few of the benefits this company offers:
