Class 1 Driver (Days, Night or Tramping)

AJ Group are working on behalf of their Client in Liverpool to recruit HGV Drivers to support their operation. We can offer flexible work to suit you across 7 days throughout the year.

The Job

We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team. The ideal driver will have experience in RDC deliveries with a refrigerated trailer.

Start times vary between 0500 - 0900 for days and 1800 - 1900 for nights. We can allocate start times based on your preference, when applying please state if you would prefer days,nights or tramping. You will be delivering chilled goods mostly to RDC's around the UK and manoeuvring onto load bays.

Our Client can also accommodate HGV Drivers who want to tramp. The main shift pattern for trampers will be Thursday to Monday but there can be some flexibility on this.

Driver Requirements

HGV Class 1 licence (C+E)

Max 6 minor points for insurance purposes

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and WTD.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

Days GBP15.50

Nights GBP16.50

Saturday GBP18.00

Sunday GBP19.00

Night Out GBP25

_Holiday pay is accrued separately to the rates listed above but can be added to your hourly rate upon request._
