Air Export Clerk

Right Now Group are looking for an experienced Air Export Clerk to join our client who are a well established Freight Forwarder near Heathrow in Stanwell.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in the Air Export operations, working within a team to deliver and execute Air Export operations, dealing with general cargo, time critical and AOG cargo.

Responsibilities of a Air Export Clerk:

Arrange and manage time-sensitive air export shipments from start to finish from origin to destination. Prepare and review all necessary export documentation, including airway bills, commercial invoices, packing lists and possibly certificate of origins. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding general cargo / time-critical shipments. Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders and other logistics partners to secure bookings and ensure timely delivery. Forge strong partnerships with hauliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to enhance logistics efficiency. Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers and vendors to optimise cost and efficiency Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly The Successful Air Export Clerk Freight Clerk :

Candidate will ideally have 1 year's experience minimum within Air Exports. Deep understanding of relevant software including CDS and Cargowise. Excellent communication skills via all methods. Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to both work within a team and independently. Additional Information:

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30

Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 On Call: This will be explained on the call, but you will also have the opportunity to be "on call" for out of hours movements which you would be paid GBP250 for being on call for the week and also overtime for "hours worked"
