Job Role – 7.5 Tonne Driver

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels and mail between depots, homes, and businesses. You will represent the organisation professionally and courteously while adhering to all safety and driving regulations.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

The Candidate:

Perform daily vehicle safety checksEfficiently plan routes for timely deliveriesDeliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locationsProvide excellent customer service during deliveriesCarry out trunking duties between Whitechapel Delivery Office, Southwark and Rotherhithe Delivery Office, and Mount Pleasant Mail CentreAccurately use and maintain your digital tachographEnsure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift windowRequirements:

Full UK Licence with Category C1 ( 7.5 Tonne Driver )A minimum of 6 months commercial driving experienceMaximum 6 points on your licence – no DD/DR convictions5 years of verifiable work historyWillingness to undergo a UK criminal background checkStrong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitudeGood customer–facing skills and ability to work independently

Shift Patterns Available:

DawnEarly EveningLateNightPay Rates (Hourly): From 19.31– 28.61 + overtime after 38 hours.
