Description
A stunning French brass oil lamp with embossed, matching decoration on the brass parts.
Rare find when all parts are there: the base, the wick, the chimney, the shade supporter, the shade.
This lamp probably dating from 1930's-1940's.
Height: 53cm (until the top of the chimney)
The shade has got three different colour cabochons : amber, green and magenta.
The chimney or funnel is crystal - please see the mark on the glass. It is in good condition, no chip, no crack.
The wick does move but the button feels stiff because the wick is dry and needs lubrication.
This oil lamp is a single burner.
The base had an impact on the side somewhere, sometimes in its life - please see photo.
