From my experience as a counsellor, I have learned that every client faces their own unique challenges and I believe taking a personalised approach is the best way to overcome these obstacIes. I have a lot of experience working with a wide range of unique client challenges, from carers who are supporting partners with dementia, through to cancer patients currently undergoing treatment and in remission. I am a professionally qualified counsellor, certified NLP practitioner and a member of the BACP.

My approach to counselling is integrative, drawing on a range of different therapeutic techniques. In my sessions, I strive to create a safe, judgement-free environment for you to explore your feelings and reach a deeper understanding of not only "what" you are feeling, but also "why" you are feeling this way.

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed and out of control in your life. When times are difficult, counselling offers the opportunity for you to explore whatever is on your mind. That’s why I set up the Lighthouse Counselling Centre: to offer my clients a little beacon of light that helps them navigate through the darkness.
