FOR SALE A GENUINE MYFORD ML10 CROSSLIDE ASSEMBLY IN GREAT CONDITION.
TOPSLIDE MODIFIED BY REMOVING 2MM FROM TOP,PRECISION MACHINED & GROUND.
THIS ENABLES LARGER TOOLS TO BE USED ALSO IDEAL WHEN FITTING A QUICK CHANGE TOOLPOST.
I HAVE BEEN USING THIS MODIFICATION ON MY ML10 FOR MANY YEARS WITH GREAT EFFECT.
BOTH CROSSLIDE & TOPSLIDE ARE FITTED WITH RESETTABLE DIALS, THE AMOUNT OF FRICTION OBTAINED BY ADJUSTING GRUB SCREW WHICH HAS A BRASS PAD LET IN ON END,ENABILING SMOOTH FRICTION WITHOUT SCORING.
