If you plug this into an USB 3.0 port on your laptop this docking station gives you the following:
2x Additional Monitor extension options 1xDisplayPort + 1xDVI (Comes free with a DVI to HDMI adapter - you can make it dual HDMI with a DP to HDMI adapter.

Microphone in
Works for PCs too, so it can be a low cost option if you want to connect more monitors, you just need to have a USB 3.0 port.
The base can be taken off, so if you want to put on a desk laid flat, that's also an option.
