the 2 stars are for an Excellent Garden Plan and beautiful plants. I was having a full garden makeover in my rear garden. However he had a series of disasters, He had a heated arguement with my lovely neighbours, His firm blocked my drain with concrete. Overturned 2 vehicles in my garden - luckily no one was hurt. No knowledge how to install a gate correctly. We had to show him how. I stopped him doing anything to the second gate and I am getting in a specialist gate installer. The finish was rushed and not high quality. I am getting a builder in to rectify. My block paved drive has been damaged as nothing was put on it to protect from the weight of the skip which was always overloaded to the point where the skip hire people were ready to refuse collection. I now have 4 indents in the drive and 2 broken blocks and quite a few are now visibly loose. We have just discovered our soakaway in front of the garage has been cemented in with post cement and that has had to be rectified.The steps and entrance to rear garden were not pointed and look terrible He was informed of most of the issues and he did offer to send someone round to do some pointing but I just do not trust the quality of workmanship. When he first visited me originally he said his "team" would come and he won awards and had 40 years of excellence. That team consists of 1 labourer, an 85year old on a digger to do the groundwork(I am old myself so it is not an ageist comment) 1 really lovely lady who comes a couple of times to deal with the plants and the owner who turned up about 9- 9.15 each day and went home 3pm-4pm. He is unable to do heavy work himself as he suffers arthritis. He should have got a fencing firm in to do the fence, and a lawn company to put in the lawn etc etc. This was to be a special garden to celebrate the life of my late husband and this firm has spoilt that. Hopefully after all the repairs I will start to enjoy it, but at the moment I am incredibly upset. I have many photographs logged to show the "workmanship"

Mike is v. easy to work with. He listens/questions yr own thoughts and objectives and responds promptly with design ideas. He is very flexible to amendments being made as design ideas develop and sticks to his design brief costings. He developed detailed project implementation costings/timeframe and coloured planting plans. He himself physically implemented the project from start to finish on time and within budget. He is very enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable on plants/ design projects and is very "down to earth" We would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He gave us lots of time in considering the important features in our garden and gave guidance to optimise the design. We were able to modify this several times until we reached a design that met our needs and budget. He was efficient and project managed everything, having employed contractors to do the hard landscaping. The service included the planting plans, which allowed us to visualise the garden and will be really useful in looking after the garden going forward. He also has a clear and transparent quoting process. We would highly recommend him.
