Description

I studied horticulture at Houghall college Durham in 1988/89 and worked at Peter Barratt's garden centre, Beamish Clematis nursery and Cowells as well as working for myself. I also worked for six year for the National Trust where I trained as a countryside ranger. This gave me a better understanding of habitat management on a larger scale and conservation.

I have several regular customers who I have worked for, for years and they appreciate the knowledge and experience I have in maintaining their gardens. I do not do artificial turf or hard landscaping such as patios or drives. I always put wildlife before tidy, so if you want a highly manicured garden, Wilderness Tamed may not be the provider you are looking for.
I have also designed and installed wild play gardens at National Trust properties and wild life and sensory gardens in schools. With formal training in horticulture and conservation I combine these two disciplines to create and maintain relaxing gardens for you to share with the wildlife around you.
