Charlie and the boys under took a big extension on our dormer bungalow (doubleing the footprint of the house). All of Charlie’s lads were polite, respectful and friendly throughout. Charlie has extensive knowledge and an eye for detail, super helpful with tips and advise through the build and design. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 5 star finish without a doubt

I had a quote for a kitchen re-configuration from Bespoke Builds at a price of £5,100. I was then asked to pay a deposit of £1,020 which i did on 20/09/2024, initially he asked for 5% then increased it to 10%. However when making payments to Charlies Rice the bank did call me and warn me that a red scam flagged up on their system that it may be a builder scam but I took the quote as genuine, next time I will trust the bank when they say it is a scam! He did not turn up to carry out the work on the agreed dates and i can not contact him as he just declined my calls. Since I could not wait any longer i had to go with another builder. With all his excuses and his attitude to work, the reviews on here must be false. Charles also never returned my deposit. This has now been reported to the police and i am seeking legal action against him

We originally took Charlie and his team on to redo the patio and build the new decking area and flatten out the garden. Whilst undertaking this job we were happy with the quality of the work and spoke to him about changing the pool that we had there. Charlie hadn't built a pool before but took on the project with the design we had discussed and delivered what we asked for. Although it took alot longer that was planned what was built is fantastic and we are very happy.

Charles and the team did a great job on our extension, from meeting with the structural engineer & building inspector (to iron out kinks in the design), to project managing the entire build, from start to completion. Nothing was too much trouble for Charles and the lads who were happy to help on anything additional we wanted. A real can-do attitude where other larger building contractors told me it can’t be done! Their work & workplace was always neat and tidy with a daily clean-up before going home. Minimum upheaval for us. Wife and I are super impressed and really happy with the build. Absolutely 100% recommend Bespoke Builds to anyone wanting an extension, or any other building work done.
