This is a very very good example of the well loved early series Land Rover from 1961 - she is an older restoration and still in remarkable order and drives especially well.

The Series 2 is a rare sight on the British roads (and fields!), she oozes real charm and is super straight and wouldn't look out of place in any classic car show in the land. This old Landy presents in the best colour scheme and is no doubt the most usable with her fixed cab with sliding rear windows and a bench seat in the rear and 3 seats across the front.

A very sweet 2.25 petrol engine that starts first turn and ticks over beautifully, super solid underneath (a separate YouTube video on our channel shows just the underside), great gearbox, steering and brakes. The best tyres for these 4x4's on a set of power coated wheels.

The Series 2 has all the appeal of the Series 1 (plus better to drive and more powerful).....but at half the price (we happen to have a Series 1 for sale at time of writing). You will love the way she looks and performs on the road/off the road.

She comes with the old style number plate included and a glance at the MOT history will show you this lovely old girl has been well maintained for many many years and has provably the best MOT history we have seen on a Land Rover of this vintage.

The previous owner enjoyed this Land Rover for 25 years and she has only had 4 previous keepers since 1961....which is quite something in itself.
There are a huge selection of old MOT's going back to the mid 1990's and 2 previous style logbooks too.
