This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 - Collectors' Cars on Saturday the 23rd of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN. , Revered amongst Land Rover enthusiasts because of its five-cylinder turbo-charged TD5 engine, six seats and high specification, these are the Defenders to own and enjoy.The range-topping XS was equipped with air-conditioning, central-locking, ABS and electric windows and the 2.5-litre, direct-injection turbodiesel generated 127bhp and a substantial 300Nm of torque.This very smart example is finished in Oslo Blue and was collected new by its one and only owner and has travelled only 39,121 miles.Supplied new by Sturgess Land Rover Ltd in September 2003, it's accompanied by the owner’s wallet and service book which shows services at 7,170 miles, 18,880 miles, 26,200 miles and 38,077 miles in 2015 when it was stored and put on axle stands.
