Keys or guitar wanted for upbeat, kind of retro but-not-really act

Are you a guitarist or keys player looking for a new band?

Ghost Notes, from Bristol, are looking for a second mid-range player to complete the line-up.

THE MUSIC
Originals. Upbeat, with its roots in the mid-century - British Invasion, soul, bluespop, jazz, surf. Music before Rock took over.

But a modern band. Not some 60s cosplay thing, in case you were wondering.
We are:
* Female lead vocal
* 3xBVs (in theory - we're very brave and try our best)
* Drums
* Bass
* Guitar

THE MISSING PIECE
We need a second guitar or keys to fill out the sound and add depth.

Looking for a decent level player but it's a "less is more" thing - some clever bits and you'll sometimes get to show off, but mostly doing simple stuff well; being able to switch between styles without getting thrown by it. Enjoying working together to create something good.

You'll need a decent knowledge of music theory, but only at the level of knowing what "Bm7sus4" means, just because it makes everything so much easier.

THE PLAN
Getting gig ready asap, then playing at decent venues across the South West. Hopefully to become known as a great live act. Ambitions to play a festival or two in 2026. Maybe some recording. That kind of thing.

We're a 'just for fun' band, but if you're going to do something it's worth trying to make it good, and it's not fun to be rubbish.
