Description
I purchased this rotomolded (grey body) v5 surfski from new in March 2024 from Epic Kayaks UK (now called Ocean Surfski). I have included a photo of the original invoice.
The v5 is an entry level surfski and is a great introduction to performance paddling. It has excellent stability and perfect for learning downwind paddling and for playing in the surf zone. Equally great for touring on flat water which is mainly what I have used it for.
Length: 4.26 m (14’)
Width: 60 cm
Depth: 32 cm
Capacity: 127 kg
Storage capacity: 46 L
Paddler fit: 4.9 to 6’7” (1.45 - 2.01 m)
Boat weight: 22 kg
Comes with an under hull rudder. An optional stern kick-up rudder can be easily added with no modifications needed, to allow the v5 to be paddled in shallow or rocky areas.
It is in excellent condition, and has been stored in a garage on a kayak rack. Some very minor scratches on the underside but otherwise immaculate.
I am selling because although I have enjoyed paddling the v5, I have realised I am better suited to traditional touring kayaks. However, I have no regrets trying out more performance based kayaking.
An Epic wing paddle is also available for an additional £150 (retails at £300 ex VAT).
Club carbon, green shaft.
Blade size: small mid
Shaft length: 205 - 215 cm
Collection only but could potentially deliver within South Hams area - Salcombe, Totnes, Torbay.
