This is a late example of Kawasaki’s W650, a retro parallel twin, much in the mould of the original ’60s W-Series bikes and Triumph Bonnevilles. With spoked wheels, and lots of chrome, it is not at all obvious that these bikes aren’t actually 40 years older than they really are. They look, and sound, like bikes of a wonderful bygone era, with modern reliability, whilst retaining a certain amount of old skool technology i.e carbs and combination electric/kick start

This particular bike has been suitably enhanced ‘Cafe Racer’ style and looks quite beautiful with shortened aluminium mudguards, period rear number plate plinth and light, period indicators and reflector, period front/rear style number plates (show use only) fly screen, drop bars, bar end mirrors, rubber tank knee pads, LSL steering damper with period style ‘dummy’ top yoke damper, Hagon front springs, Hagon fully adjustable rear dampers, chrome oil temperature gauge, megaphone sports exhausts with wrapped downpipes, bespoke one-off seat hump, period decals and polished aluminium chain guard. Sargents of Sussex is run by Damon Sargent. A lifelong enthusiast, motor cars were instilled in his blood from a long family background of motor and mechanical engineers. Now in it's thirty second year the business continues to run with an enthusiasm and integrity that is higher than ever, with according specialist knowledge of the stock. We pride ourselves on a 'traditional values' approach to our customers and will always make every effort to resolve any issues, should they arise. Indeed, we value repeat business very highly and are delighted to say that many customers return because they have determined to buy only from us.

Throughout our trading years we have endeavoured to source vehicles of a more interesting nature and we have sold numerous Ferrari, Porsche and AMG Mercedes, BMW M3/M5, Lotus Elise, Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Evolution. Many more ‘niche’ market vehicles have also passed through our hands, Noble and TVR for example, and many older classics in addition to some true modern motoring icons including the Lotus Carlton and UR Audi Quattro Turbo.

Our core business now concentrates on motorcycle sales and we have sold numerous bikes from Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, MV Agusta, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, to name but a few. Our key market is sports bikes, but we have a significant interest in stocking the ever more popular 'naked street bikes' as well as mainstream sports tourers and commuters, and the more niche market supermoto and enduros, as well as the odd classic. Against any of our sales bikes, we welcome cars or other bikes in part exchange against them. As ever, our long term partners at Meridian Finance can offer all manner of lending solutions against these machines.

The Sargent family have been involved in the motor trade for a great many years now. The great grandfather of Damon Sargent, Henry James Sargent, began trading, in East Grinstead, in the early 1920's and built a successful business, Sargents of East Grinstead Ltd., which remained for 60 years until finally closed in the early 1980's. We are proud to follow in the family tradition.

Based in East Sussex between Battle and Rye, we are surprisingly accessible being just 5 minutes from the A21, and a little under 1 hour south of M25 Junction 5 for customers travelling from the motorway network.
