Here for sale in my beloved Gen 1 ZX10R, I've owned her for many years, on road, track and now she's my sprint/Drag bike and was running a tad under 10 second quarters mile. She's got full Ohlins shock internals, rebuild last season, she's been lowered and front end been strapped down for flying starts but even with the extended swing arm lifts the front wheel through the first 4 gears if you give her to many beans, swing arm extension 6" , Shinko pro rear tyre which has only done 6 runs, Domino quarter turn quick throttle 15 tooth front sprocket, 56 rear, secondary butterflies removed, K&N race filter, fuel commander, ZZR1400 front calipers and master cylinder. Always had an oil change after every race meeting, and she was always looked after by myself, I've done all the work on her. She has an upgraded gearbox which is now a ZX10R Gen 3 box where the gear selector dogs have a negative rake making sure the gears interlock and stay there! The original Gen 1 had a real problem with the gearbox damaging the dogs on the connecting edge, rounding them off hence causing gear slip especially if a Quick shifter is used, I've left the healtec QS on her but it's not connected at the moment The clutch has been upgraded also to heavy duty with a Brocks mod for sprint/drag racing. She's running rough at present as valves need shimming and she's been sat for 10 months. Before I put her to work on the drag strip she had a daylight MOT. Engine and new gearbox are sweet but definitely needs shim's sorting!
This bike is worth loads more in parts alone! New frame fitted approx 2007.
Also still has electrics for road fairings to be fitted so she could be returned to a road bike 👍. If you know what your doing it's an easy job to get her back to the track.
I'm no longer able to race due to the ol' body not being what it used to be, but would love someone else to use her and have as much enjoyment as I did with her, bike's name is Zelda. Some spares come with her. I'm well aware that the gen 1's are getting rare so grab a bargain and get racing
