Jaguar XFR, 14 Stamp Jag Service History, Stirling

Stunning example of an incredibly rare car- the Jaguar XFR. I have owned this car for three and a half years and have loved every minute of it. I spent many months searching for the best example I could and this was it. The car had clearly been incredibly well looked after by the previous owner and benefits from a 14 stamp Jaguar (and independent Jaguar) service history, with all additional work carried out during my ownership by a well respected Glasgow based independent Jaguar/Land Rover specialist. During this time I have had a few things done alongside the standard services such as a gearbox oil change (often overlooked), I have had the Supercharger nose cone fixed along with a new belt (a common failure point for these cars) and I put on 4 Falken Avensis tyres last year which have only had a few thousand miles of use. Regarding the engine, as much as you will read that the 5.o engine in these cars is 'bulletproof' and whilst mostly that's true, it's worth pointing out that one failure point can be related to the timing chain and more specifically, the timing chain guards. Just to reassure any interested party, this car doesn't suffer from this issue and it was the first thing I asked the specialist to check when I bought the car

That aside, the Jag is completely standard apart from the inclusion of a Spires exhaust. If you know anything about theses cars, you'll be aware that the V8 can be slightly muted with the stock exhaust, however, this exhaust from a well respected manufacturer down South just enhances that sound and turns the car into something pretty special. Please note, I will however include the standard exhaust in the sale. Apart from that this is a completely unmodified, well loved example.
