This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 on Sunday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN. , UK-delivered from new, exported to France in 1975 and later re-imported in 2008 by Runnymede Classic Cars, regaining its original UK registration,Underwent a comprehensive restoration by P&P Restorations in the UK in 1995 before returning to France,Purchased by our late vendor in 2016 and kept in his care until his passing,Repainted in early 2025 to a high standard in its original Signal Red, complemented by its black interior wearing lovely patina,Presents superbly externally, the original interior remains in charming, honest condition with only a cracked windscreen noted,Runs and drives very well, in good mechanical condition,Accompanied by a remarkable history file, including every bill and invoice from 1973 onward, a scan of the original 'buff' logbook, French export paperwork, all historic UK/French registration documents and all bills/invoices,A well sorted and highly original Series 2 E-Type 2+2 with a fabulous back story,
