12 month rolling contract

€550 - €600 per day

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a global organisation with a major presence in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a multi-year, international programme of work.

The role requires a strong background in IT project delivery within global, matrixed organisations, with experience leading multiple workstreams and working across different cultures and time zones. Prior technical experience with infrastructure (Network & Compute), SAP-based warehouse management systems, and a background in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

Role Overview

As Technical Project Manager, you will:

Lead project planning, design, and execution phases, including Stage Gates.

Manage risks, stakeholders, escalations, and present updates to steering committees.

Produce weekly status reports, governance packs, and project communications.

Manage cross-functional teams across global sites to ensure timely updates.

Support and mentor other project managers or staff performing PM functions.

Oversee project pipelines and interdependencies through portfolio forums.

Engage with the Global PMO and strategy teams on new initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with project management audit controls.

Essential Criteria

7+ years’ IT Project Management experience leading projects.

Strong knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Proven track record managing multiple projects and presenting to leadership teams.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Office 365, PPM tools).

Comfortable using Azure DevOps (ADO).

Solid technical understanding of IT delivery projects (Compute, Network, Software Solutions).

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Project Management qualification (PMI, PMP or equivalent).

Experience mentoring and leading validation phases of projects.

Ability to work effectively in complex, global, matrixed environments.
