Job Title: Head of Planning - Local Authority

Location: South of England (Hybrid - 2 days in office)

Contract: 6 Months

Rate: Up to £(Apply online only) per day - Outside IR35 considered

Start: ASAP

Interviews: Week commencing 04/08/2025

We're working with a progressive local authority in the South of England seeking an experienced Head of Planning to lead their planning services.

You'll manage Development Management, Planning Policy, and Enforcement, drive strategic improvements, and oversee delivery of the Local Plan, regeneration projects, and climate initiatives.

Key Requirements:

Senior local authority planning experience

RTPI membership

Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Proven record of service delivery and innovation
