JOB TITLE: Workshop Engineer

SALARY: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum

LOCATION: Nottingham

SETTING: Office based

We have an exciting opportunities for a Workshop Engineers. We look after a wide-ranging customer base who use a variety of manufacturers including Lenovo, HP, Apple and Dynabook equipment. You would need to be able to work in a busy, fast paced environment under own initiative or as part of team.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Workshop Engineer

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inspecting, testing and restocking of customer owned equipment and accessories. This will include a test and repair of all products relating to company business, predominantly Apple, HP, Lenovo, Dynabook and Viglen. Ensuring correct software/firmware is used on all repaired equipment, following test and repair procedures.

Ensuring customers equipment is fully refurbished and configured to high standards prior to restocking.

Ensuring all outbound orders are completed in line with agreed SLA’s.

Deployment of selected customer images via SCCM or USB after machines are repaired/refurbished.

Updating calls regularly with clear and concise detail on our call management system.

Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to ensure correct parts are ordered and achieve right first-time repair.

Requirements: Workshop Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to install and replace hardware and configure operating systems. You will be able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently, with a good understanding of PC Hardware set-up and configuration.
