Are you an experienced IT hardware technician who has had exposure to MFD’s such as printing, scanning and copying devices? Want to work for a company that will give you excellent career development opportunities?

Working for this well-established technology company as a field-based Hardware Engineer, your role involves visiting customers daily, undertaking both reactive and pre planned maintenance on a variety of different equipment falling under the Multi-Functional Devices (MFD) remit. You’ll need exposure to dealing with printing, scanning and copying devices on both the hardware and basic software aspects.

Salary - £30,000 per annum + Company Car

Location – Midlands (Ideally living in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire)

Role Type – Permanent / 9-5 / Mon-Fri

The Role

You’ll receive initial training on products specifics and then you’ll quickly move into the field, using your existing experience with MFPs and/or printers to deliver exceptional post-sales support.

The role sees you installing and maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day will include resolving technical faults, advising customers, managing stock levels, completing accurate reports, and keeping in close contact with our call centre.

You'll also train customers on equipment use, maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.

A full UK Driving License is required to be considered for this opportunity.
