Contract: Design Lead
Hybrid (2 days on-site as needed) | £550/day (Outside IR35) | 12 months+
We're looking for an experienced Design Lead to drive the end-to-end design of a new student management solution. This role will shape integrations across CRM, LMS, and student record systems in a large-scale Higher Education transformation.
What you'll do
Lead design across CRM, LMS, and student systems.
Mentor Business Analysts and ensure high-quality requirements.
Run workshops with global stakeholders across business & IT.
Translate requirements into design artefacts, user stories, and Agile deliverables.
Ensure solutions align with the student lifecycle, policies, and architecture principles.
Champion user-centred design with a strong focus on UX & accessibility.
What we're looking for
Strong design leadership on large-scale CRM/ERP/student systems programmes.
Knowledge of the student lifecycle & Higher Education processes.
Hands-on with Salesforce, Canvas LMS, and SITS (Tribal).
Skilled in Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and design tools (Lucidchart/Miro).
Nice to have
HESA, GDPR & Higher Education regulatory knowledge.
UX/UI & accessibility (WCAG) expertise.
API-first, Azure, and integration experience.
