Description
For sale is used Alpine x801d-u stereo.
Music and phone works fine, but gps option does not work - the unit displays blank screen when you press gps button.
Apparently this is caused by a gps board fault - one of ebay sellers offers a replacement gps board replacement service which solves this issue .
It is a single Din base unit, but has a bigger 8'' display. All multimedia and phone functions work fine, but gps function stopped working recently - when you press gps button the screen changes to blank. For music it is still a great unit.
Was intstalled in my VW T5 Caravelle, so should fit other vw models 2010-2016.
Comes with cables and a special vw fascia to accommodate 8'' screen in a standard dashboard. Only what you see on photos is included with this unit.
Can be seen working if you decide to collect in person.
The alpine 8'' fascia alone cost £85 as it is specific for this Alpine model.
