I am selling a fantastic condition Hyundai Tucson SE Nav, this car has the incredibly frugal 1.7 four cylinder diesel engine delivering 60+mpg and only 119g/km CO2… meaning only £35 annual road tax, low running costs and low insurance.

The car has been serviced to the letter, with proof of all expenditure and to a high standard. The payoff being it drives like a new car and is utterly reliable, regardless of the mileage.

I’d always rather buy a car with higher miles but impeccable servicing. Personally, I look for key features that haven’t been skimped on; such as good quality tyres, high quality perishable parts, such as the AGM 12v battery. For me, that’s what matters- and it’s something to consider with this car too, with over £7500 in receipts for servicing in order to keep it utterly dependable.

Engine and maintenance
The car has full service history, documenting everything right down to wiper blades and tyres. Most recent servicing includes:

•Brand new tyres fitted following MOT (initially failed on MOT due to small stones in tyres, causing a cut in rubber, not tread depth- so they’ve been replaced now. I don’t agree with it personally I think Protyre were looking to upsell me on things they could, the tyres were in fantastic condition and I have a gravel drive! I accept that I don’t make the decision, so got them replaced.
•A new rear door actuator for the offside rear at 143,500 miles in July 2025. (A high failure point on these cars, all others having been done at some stage in the cars’ life)
•The car had a brand new Yuasa AGM battery in June 2025 at 142k miles
•A genuine Hyundai washer bottle and washer pump fitted at 139k miles
•The 6 speed manual gearbox and cutch is perfect; it was replaced by The Gearbox Specialists, Bournemouth in September 2024 at 134,361 miles due to crunching gears. This cost £2400.00.
•The last major service being carried out at 133,345 miles. This included oil and filter service, diesel flush, oil and air filter, sump plug, handbrake service and replacement rear brake pads and discs.
All preventative work has been carried out at great expense to make this a superbly reliable car.

Bodywork/Cosmetics
The bodywork is in excellent condition with no rust at all; the paintwork looks fantastic. It has some minor age related marks as you might expect, but it is all very minor and I would say that this car is in very good condition overall.

Likewise, the interior is in superb condition; The car benefits from the upgraded stereo system with optional sat nav, Bluetooth handsfree, music streaming , auto stop/start, multi-function leather steering wheel, heated seats, remote central locking, electric folding mirrors, windows all round, digital trip computer, split rear seats, numerous air bags, Isofix and ice cold air conditioning. With dual zone climate control.

The only issue to note is a slight wear on the driver’s seat pad in one spot; it’s not torn though- see interior photos.

Summary
Overall, it’s a lot of car for the money, superbly reliable, returns up to 60+mpg and has cheap road tax with low insurance. It’s perfect for commuting or running around town. The boot is very big too.

Everything works as it should. The car comes with two working key fobs, V5 and full service folder.

The car’s MOT runs out on 13 August 2026. The car is also HPI clear.
