Description
This specially commissioned cabinet of 600 coins is one of only 26 ever made. It contains all the coins from 1953 to 2016.
The pre decimal coins are in good grade circulated condition, except 1970 which are in PROOF condition.
All coins from 1972 -2016 are in PROOF condition, which includes the KEW GARDENS & all the OLYMPICS 50p’s. There is also the undated 20p coin.
The 1980 & 1981 crowns are in STERLING SILVER, there are 82 coins in the cabinet which were never issued for circulation.
There are 29 coin trays and 2 larger trays containing a dvd, magnifying glass and a fully comprehensive book giving details of every single coin in the cabinet.
The cabinet is 31” wide 24” tall x 12” deep. There are two lockable doors and is very, very heavy.
All cabinets were made to order and were personalised with a brass plate on the inside of the door and printed on the book, ( Smith family).
There price is £2,695, you will never get another chance to own so many coins in PROOF condition in one go. A lot of these coins are rapidly rising in value, for example the KEW in PROOF (not circulated) can be £200+ on its own. If each coin sold for £5 this would total £3000, bearing in mind there are dozens of coins that would sell for lots more. This is a very good investment for the future as most will rise in price.
I will answer any sensible questions you wish to know, please do not ask if it is still available as I will not respond.
Thank you for reading this rather long description and best wishes to you.
