Honda Generation 9 newer shape 1.8 i-Vtec SE 5 door hatch, petrol, 6 speed manual, 70,000 miles with full service history (12 stamps). Please note there is no timing belt as it is a chain. My name & address on the V5C. Was pre-registered by Marshalls Honda and then sold with 50 miles on the clock to the first private owner. Subsequently it was owned by his daughter, so although I'm technically the 4th owner, in reality it's one family plus me. I have the original vehicle order form from Marshall's along with service invoices to both father & daughter. The car still carries it's original dealer number plates from Marshalls. It is HPI clear. Fuel economy is outstanding, especially with the 6th gear and also has an Eco button for even better fuel consumption. Last serviced in May. Current MOT end of Feb 2026. ULEZ compliant.

It took approx 6 weeks to find this car, my car at the time was an original Focus but it wasn't ULEZ compliant. Diesel wasn't in the mix because of DPF and fuel injector problems. I also wanted something with a bit of oomph for going up and down the motorway to Cumbria. Eventually I found this, well equipped, comfortable, roomy, 100% reliable and perfect for distances.


Everything mentioned works perfectly apart from the A/C which probably just needs a re-gas. So, power steering, remote central locking, electric windows front & back with lock button to disable rear seat passengers from opening, reversing camera, adjustable reach & rake steering column, drivers seat height adjuster, electric door mirrors, CD radio with steering wheel controls, digital read out display, ABS brakes - disc all round, side & curtain airbags, headlamp levelling adjuster, switchable passenger airbag, Isofix for childrens seats, switchable electric stability programme, alloy wheels, locking wheel nuts, central storage console with extra 12v socket, USB socket & auxiliary socket, both sun visors have illuminating vanity mirrors, If you fit a dashcam, it can be left plugged in - it goes off when the engine is off so doesn't drain the battery. I dare say there's more but they're the main things that make a difference to the owning/driving experience.

It had recently had a service but for peace of mind I had a checkover, oil service, brand new battery, wheels off - hubs/discs bagged & taped and all suspension components/underbody sprayed with Lanogard - all by R G services.

This years MOT had no proper advisories, there was just stuff in the way on the rear seats.

With that out of the way, the condition of the car is excellent, bar A/C everything works & is spot on mechanically. All buttons & switches function properly, it has never been smoked in, the upholstery is unmarked and seats look like new, the paintwork is near mint, no rust, no dents etc.

Road tax bracket is 137 g/km which makes it annually £195, I pay it monthly at £17.06.

Finally as mentioned comes with 2 keys - both with working remote facility, locking wheel nut key, Honda wallet containing handbook, owners manual, build sheet, a sheaf of service invoices, previous MOTs etc. It also comes with a full set of genuine Honda carpet mats,
