A lovely 2 double bedroom mid terrace house in Dagenham, Essex, with a lot of potential to be someone's home! Double glazing windows, central heating, gray wooden flooring throughout the house, spacious front room, bathroom is on the small side but serves its purposes and shouldn’t put you off, good size kitchen, large back private garden with a large decking area and a front garden, storage under stairs, attic for storage or could be converted into another bedroom, 4 min walk to the nearest bus stop and shopping parade at the top of the road: takeaways, dry cleaners, post office, various food shops, barbers, cash points (small Tesco and Post Office), many schools around within walking distance. Dagenham Heathway and Dagenham East stations (District Line) are walkable. Space to park your car if you have one and the permit is cheap for the year costing £36, visitors permit is 75p for 4 hours and £1.38 for 24 hours. Heathway Shopping centre, Merrielands Retail Park nearby for all your shopping needs, or there's The Liberty, The Mercury and The Brewery shopping centres in Romford. Overall, lovely and quiet street, no bother, neighbours are friendly, kind, everyone says hello to each other. I love my house and neighbourhood but looking for another property due to my health and to give support to my elderly parents.
What I want
A 2 DOUBLE bedroom council house, bungalow, OR ground floor flat (or a 3 bed if council allows under occupancy) in these areas ONLY: Tulse Hill, West Norwood, West Dulwich or Streatham Hill. I'm not interested in any other areas. Small blocks or new builds only and NO estates or high rise buildings please. If you are not a council tenant, please do not contact me.
The house or flat preferably should have a garden with no/minimal grass or a very large balcony (won't accept a flat without a LARGE outside space) and storage. Must have own driveway or designated place park outside property due to my health condition and with built in wardrobes if possible. If the property is a house or maisonette, It MUST have a downstairs toilet. Property must be near to main roads, a train station/good transport links, shops and other amenities otherwise I’ll not consider it.
