Vintage Swiss Marquetry Walnut Stella Wooden Music Table/ Sewing Box/ Dungeon Master Games Box with Original Key

Music box:
I am unsure of the song that plays, but it is a beautiful piece of classical music. The music box (picture 6) is to the right under a small piece of wood that can be lifted up. I have restored the musical element as it was running slow, squeaking and needed oiling. This now works as new. The music box portion of this table works and is activated by twisting the metal cog on the underside of the table (picture 5) to stop the music, just close the lid and the small pin (to the right of picture 4) will press in, over time this has left some marks on the underside of the lid (picture 7b).

Table top:
The beautiful inlaid wood has seen some small damage over time, including some very light scratches, a small hole (picture 8a), some tiny surface cracks (picture8b) and picture 8d, 8e, 8f). There is damage to one corner, the front right corner (picture 8c) and it also has a slight manufacturing abnormality (see picture 8g).

Branding:
This piece does not have a maker's mark, but I believe it to be Reuge/ Stella Swiss Musical Movement. This is down to research and closer inspection of the musical component (picture 6)

Legs:
Over the course of this pieces existence, it has adapted and changed to the needs of its current owner. The original legs have been replaced with smaller legs, presumably to sit atop a dresser as a jewellery box (picture 5). A modern day use for this could be to have as a games box for a DM, to keep it as a jewellery box, or to use as a sewing organiser. It will be dispatched full assembled as the legs have been tightly screwed/ glued on. On the underside, there is some slight damage to the veneer.

Inside:
There are some light scratches to the inside of the lid and more prevalent scratches to the edges (picture 3a 3b). This has been lined with green felt material by it's previous owner, it has been cleaned to the best of my abilities, but it still shows some signs of wear and tear, (specifically picture 9). It also comes with the original key.

This item is pre-owned/ used and is in excellent Vintage condition. All wear and tear/ abnormalities are listed above, with relevant picture references.

As with all furniture of this age, there will be small signs of wear and tear, I feel these add some character and overall it's an excellent piece of quirky furniture.
