Vintage Ronald Embleton “Victorian children at play”. Set of 4 large prints 43x30cm. Circa 1970s

A collection of four large, framed vintage prints, 'Victorian Children at Play', by the British illustrator Ronald Embleton. Part of the 'Dickens Series' of Victorian-era children playing nostalgic street games. Titles are:

Hopscotch
Eggy Peggy
Fox and Chickens
Hi Jimmy Knacker


These prints belonged to my parents, and they have hung on the walls of our living room since I was a child, so my guess is that their age is around the late 1970s at the earliest.

The prints come in heavy black and gilt-edged frames with glass. There are some signs of wear as to be expected for their age, please see photos.

Width: 30cm
