Description
A sweet little porcelain Limoges egg-shaped trinket box - Hand painted and signed at the base "PEINT MAIN LIMOGES A.M." - A central gold medallion decorated with a large pink rose and green foliage - The painting is not very fine at close inspection but the egg is still a working decorative piece with ornate metal hardware, hinge and flower clap - The egg closes very securely and tight and requires a little bit of gentle pressure to open - Small traditional gold decoration inside - Very good vintage condition - Packed in a padded nice box for posting but not original.
