2) AMERICANS: Written by BBC producer Desmond Wilcox and based on the BBC television series of the same name. Features interviews with ‘essentially Americans’, including First Lady at the time Rosalynn Carter, Joe de la Cruz, an Indian Chief, the President of General Motors and a young black female schoolteacher from the Bronx, among many others. Published in 1978 by Delacorte Press, New York. Dust jacket (torn). Hardback.
