Description
1) THE WONDERS OF SCIENCE. Published in 1963 by Collins. Features chapters entitled: PROGRESS IN SPACE TRAVEL, THE MARVELS OF YOUR BODY, THE ATOMIC SUBMARINE and The ROMANCE OF THE MICROSCOPE AND TELESCOPE. Plus many other subjects too numerous to list, but see photos. Colour illustrations and black and white photographs.
2) THE WORLD’S GREATEST WONDERS. Odhams Press. Featuring all the continents of the world. Black and white illustrations, see photos. No date given, but believe published in the 1950s.
Both books sold as seen. From a pet and smoke-free home. (NB: If the item is shown on Gumtree it is still available. No need to ask.
