Description
Up for sale is my Studio Scale Klingon Bird of Prey model replica from "Star Trek III The Search for Spock".
The model kit itself was purchased from the NICE-N MODEL Designs Company which was designed by the studio artist Steve Nieson who lives in the USA.
The model kit is no longer available and the parts were shipped to me at a cost of over $3500 to the UK.
She was built in the UK by a very talented artist with over 1 years work put into the build and the model comes fully lit with flashing impulse engine warp engine effects, wing lights, landing lights together with disruptor torpedo light effects.
The model has aluminium armatures installed in the wings to prevent warp/sag and the model would need to be stripped to its main parts and reassembled as the model is too large and heavy to transport as a complete assembly and I have a model builder on hand to assist with that as necessary.
She is very large and heavy and I have extensive build photos of the model available if needed.
I have never seen another model like this for sale in the UK let alone anywhere else in the world currently, and the sheer size and scale of this model cannot be appreciated until the model is viewed in person.
More pictures to follow soon.
The model could be delivered to any potential buyers address. I would pay for the artist to disassemble the model and reassemble the model at the buyers location but fuel and van hire would need to be sorted by separate arrangement.
International shipping might be possible but would depend on the buyers location.
Thanks for looking.
