Description
The Q1 trolleybus, three axled and 35 feet long, was the finest trolleybus London has ever seen.
Built by British United Traction, it superseded the “Diddler” of 1931 and had Metro Cammel bodywork to a width of 8 feet, rather than the 7 feet six inches of its predecessor.
In the early 1960s many were sold to Spain where they gave sterling service for many years.
This splendid 1:76mm scale model comes plain boxed in its original display case, minus minute retention screws, but with a LIMITED EDITION Certificate.
