Description
The Imperial Good Companion series of Britsh-made manual portable typewriters ran from the 1930s until the 1960s . The Model Six was the last iteration of this fine line of machines. This machine was made in 1963, serial number 6AK 555. It has a green metal case with hinged ribbon cover and is in lovely cosmetic condition. Mechanically, it is in full working order, having recently been cleaned, serviced and adjusted by a professional typewriter technician. It has the original metal ribbon spools, with a bi-chrome red/black ribbon only a few months old. The leatherette carrying case is in beautiful condition with fully working zips.
The machine comes with all original paperwork and accessories including the Warranty Card showing the date of purchase, The Imperial instructions leaflet, Beginners Keyboard Manual, the Imperial 6 keyboard fingering chart, the typeface cleaning brush, Imperial rubber and cleaning cloth
